We do not often consider how much can be accomplished in four months well-spent. Since I suspect that the honest answer might be 'a lot', I have decided to check for myself.
For my 2019 summer, I have challenged myself to get uncomfortable. Here are three things that I will do outside of my day-to-day ADHD research and GRE preparation.
I will jump out of an airplane. Yes, with a parachute.
I will train for and run a half marathon despite not particularly enjoying running.
I will select, contact, and interview a person that I deeply admire.
Through these adventures, I hope to become more comfortable with anxiety, to teach myself mental perseverance, and to acquaint myself with rejection.
But words are weightless. I will report back with my actions.
